How do I create wages for an employee?

I cannot at present put my employee onto payroll and need to get this set up as soon as possible. I need to upgrade my quick books account I think. How do I do this?

How do I create wages for an employee?

I can help you set up your employee, agnew2817.

 

You can use QuickBooks Online Payroll to pay your employees and creates wages for them. If you're ready, you can turn on our payroll service right from your QuickBooks Online account.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online and go to Employees or Payroll menu.
  2. Select Choose your plan. You'll see the two options to choose from: Standard Payroll and Advanced Payroll.
  3. From the Standard Payroll option, select Start 1 month free trial.
  4. Go to Employees or Payroll menu, then select Let's go to set up your payroll in QuickBooks Online.
