How do I delete EPS in advanced payroll?

I am using advanced payroll and my FPS is submitted automatically. However, in Payroll Tax, there are 6 months of 'No Payment EPS' and I don't know why as employees have been paid every month. Firstly, can I delete them? Secondly, how?

How do I delete EPS in advanced payroll?

Yes, you can delete your EPS using your advanced payroll, VGG. Let's navigate to the Payroll Tax section to complete this process.

 

Before we proceed, please know that if your RTI reporting settings in QuickBooks is configured to automatically send your EPS to HMRC, the system will manage this process for you. Since you've mentioned that your FPS are sent automatically and that a monthly payment to your employee has been made, yet you're still seeing a No Payment EPS message, I recommend contacting our live support team for further assistance in identifying the cause and resolution of this matter. 

 

At the same time, please know that deleting your EPS is irreversible, and you won't be able to recover the information afterwards. Since you're using the Advanced Payroll, you'll need to delete or unlock your previous pay run before deleting this. Once done, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks account.
  2. Head to Taxes and select Payroll tax.
  3. Choose the EPS you wish to delete.
  4. Then, click the bin icon.
  5. Select Yes, remove to confirm.
