When your payroll reports filing is rejected, it will be under Due Now. Thus, you can resubmit them. The most common reason for rejection is that the Government Gateway credentials are incorrect. Before sending it again, let's review your ID and Password.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Company Settings.
- Click Payroll.
- Select the Edit icon next to Online filing with HMRC.
- Make sure that the slider next to Save Gateway credentials is turned on.
- Enter the Gateway ID and Gateway Password.
- Make sure that the slider next to Submit FPS automatically with Payroll (or Automatically file in Settings) is turned on.
- Save your changes.
If you get the same result, I recommend reaching out to our Payroll Support to help you submit the payroll reports successfully. Also, they have the tools to determine and resolve what's causing this unexpected behaviour.
