I've been trying to submit FPS in payroll but it keeps getting rejected. I know I am putting in the right credentials, please could anyone help?

Hello Community Users, We just wanted to pop in and add some tips for what to do if a FPS filing is rejected. The first thing to check is the full error message as it will give you a break down of where the issue is coming from. If for example it mentions HMRC credentials  you would need to check

Let me get you pointed in the right direction that can help check your credentials so you can submit the FPS.

 

To help verify the reason behind the rejection of your FPS submission, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the tools that can check on your credentials and guide you with submitting the FPS.

 

Here's how you can reach them:

  1. Click on Help at the top menu bar.
  2. Hit on the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter a brief description of the issue in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. Press on Let's talk.
  5. Select on Get a callback.
  6. Key in your contact details, then tap on Confirm my call.

To add up, please know that there are times that it takes up to 72 hours to update this process before you receive a confirmation from HMRC. Just make sure that you've entered a Contact Email Address on your Payroll Settings since this will be sent there.
