Greetings, Trevor.
Currently, we've received similar cases and reports about the payroll report not pulling up and having that error. Let me direct you to the best help possible.
If you wish to be notified of the updates of the reported cases through email, you can contact QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll Support and add you to the affected users list. Here's how:
After the issue is resolved, if you want to move your report outside of QuickBooks, you can read this article: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.
Come back anytime here if you have additional payroll reports-related concerns. I'll be willing to help you. Keep safe, and have a good day.
Many thanks Bryan. I will do that and report back
Hi Bryan. I have a Live Chat with Support today, but they couldn’t resolve the issue. I am trying to run Payroll Reports having run my March payroll ahead of my usual pay-day (30th of the month) and, having looked at my account and seen the issue on my screen, the Support guy agreed that the timing of the payroll may have indeed caused the payroll reports not running at this time. I said that I would try and run them again on 1 April, so they are keeping the case open until then. I will report back on progress after that.
