P60, P32 and P11 reports

I asked this in the 'payroll year-end 24/25 drop in session' but nobody replied - when will P60s for 24/25 tax year be available under Core Payroll?

Also, can we have P32 and P11 reports for the whole tax year? They currently still only show the months under Core Payroll and omit the months under the former Standard Payroll product.

Thanks

P60, P32 and P11 reports

Thank you for your patience as we address your concerns, Richard96. I recognize the importance of having clear information on year-end processes and complete access to reports, and I’m here to help.

To address your first concern, P60s for the 24/25 tax year will be available in line with HMRC guidelines, typically after the end of the tax year in April 2025. QuickBooks Online Payroll Core automatically updates forms to ensure they meet all regulations.

These forms will become accessible once the final payroll of the tax year is processed and after all submissions to HMRC have been finalized.

For more in-depth information about tax regulations and deadlines for year-end, please refer to our article: Year-end guide for QuickBooks Online Core Payroll.

Regarding your second concern about the P32 and P11 reports, the Core Payroll system currently only reflects data from the period during which it has been in use. This limitation arises because the data from the earlier Standard product isn't automatically merged with the Core Payroll product, resulting in reports that exclude months under the former system.

One potential solution is to manually generate the reports from the Standard Payroll for the relevant months and similarly generate the current reports from Core Payroll. These data can then be consolidated manually, for instance, using a spreadsheet program, to give an overview of the whole tax year.

We are diligently investigating potential improvements to our system to ensure better integration of historical data during transitions between products. Your feedback is crucial as it aids in enhancing our service.

We encourage you to share any thoughts or suggestions with our product engineers.

Furthermore, I also suggest checking out this informative article: Introducing QuickBooks Core Payroll: Your New Payroll Experience. It offers comprehensive guidance on what to expect before and after transitioning to QuickBooks Core Payroll.

Additionally, take advantage of the QuickBooks Workforce feature to streamline the process of issuing P60s and payslips for your team. Refer to this article for more insights: Invite Employees to QuickBooks Workforce to See Payslips, P60s, and More.

Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention. Your proactive approach helps us ensure that we continue to meet our customer's needs effectively. We are committed to resolving these issues promptly and are here to support you every step of the way.

P60, P32 and P11 reports

A bit disappointing to find that Standard Payroll for the current tax year has still not been imported into Core. I'm sure I raised this when clients were first migrated to Core back in October, so I would have thought it would have been sorted by now, in time for year end.
