Payroll export

QBO cannot fix a 9-week old bank feed problem, with a policy that prevents support staff from having access to the engineers. So as they cannot guarantee if the problem will ever get solved, have suggested that we move to XERO or MYOB.

I have done the export as per the support team, BUT it only contains the employee name and none of the rest of their information. Nothing, no payrates, Tax files number, payruns.etc.

Please tell me there is another export option

Payroll export

Hi there, @happyswim.

Thank you for sharing your experience in the Community. Allow me to share some additional steps on how you can fix your concern in exporting.

We can export your payroll reports to Excel to QuickBooks Online (QBO). In that way, you can get the information that you needed.

Let me show you how:

  1. Select Reports.
  2. Search for and select the report you want to export.
  3. At the top of the report, select the Export icon. Then select Export to Excel.
  4. Save the file somewhere you can easily find, like your Downloads folder or your desktop.

Also, you can look for third-party applications that can help you export your payroll data.

Here are the steps to route you to QuickBooks Apps:

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/.
  2. Select your region
  3. Search for an app that may suit your business needs.

All the applications listed are verified and approved by our product engineers to work best with QuickBooks Online.
