SSP and salary incorrect on advanced payroll

Help Please

Our employee is on statutory sick pay SSP all of november.

ive added under pay statutory leave and made sure the reduce basic pay by statutory amount is highlighted.

when doing a pay run salary is still full pay and the ssp has been added then subtracted.

we do not pay salary and ssp. If i manually delete the salary, ssp is then deleted too.

do i have to manually change all the figures? how do i get rid of salary and keep just ssp?

we use online and advanced payroll

SSP and salary incorrect on advanced payroll

Hello there, GS112021.

I recognize how important it is for your business to have accurate records of your employee’s paycheques. This ensures your taxes and forms have the correct information.

We’ll have to review the worker’s set up to determine the source of the issue. The process requires us to collect personal data to pull up your account.

For safety purposes, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online (QBO) Customer Care Team. They can perform in-depth troubleshooting steps in a secure environment and make sure the Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) will show the right amount.

To reach them:

  1. Go to the Help icon at the top to select the Contact Us link.
  2. Enter your concern in the field box. For example, the SSP amount is incorrect.
  3. Click the Continue button to see the list of support options.
  4. From there, choose any of the following: Chat or Callback.

You can read this article for future reference: Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) in QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll. It contains links and a video that will guide you on how to handle each payroll item.

I’m adding a link that will help you track COVID-19 Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) in QuickBooks Payroll. From there, you’ll learn how to pay the affected workers, make a claim, and record it in your company.

Drop a comment below if you have additional questions about handling SSP and other payroll-related concerns. Please know I’m always ready to answer them for you. Have a great rest of your day.
