Good day, Kat.
I appreciate your time in reaching out to us here about re-subscribing to your payroll service. When you're unable to do so, It's possible that your bank requires you to settle some notifications.
You may want to ask them if you need to verify an authorization charge for your QuickBooks Online Payroll subscription.
Once done, try to reactivate your payroll service by following these steps:
- In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Gear > Account and Settings.
- Select Billing & Subscription, then Resubscribe, and enter the updated billing information.
- Click Subscribe.
The instructions are also included in this article: How to resubscribe or reactivate QuickBooks Online.
If everything is settled from the bank's end and you're still unable to resubscribe, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support again. They can pull up your account and investigate what's causing this behavior.
Here's how:
- Click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
- In the Help window, click the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
- Enter your question and click Let's talk.
- Choose either Start a chat or Call us.
If you have the new QuickBooks Assistant help update, you can follow these steps:
- In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
- Type Talk to a human and click the Contact a human button.
- Select Live Chat / Call me back.
You can always reach out to me if you have any additional questions or other concern. I'll be around to help you out some more. Take care!
