Are you trying to connect your bank account in QuickBooks Self-employed?
If this is the first time that you set up online banking, I recommend that you validate your credentials on your financial institution's website. Once verified, try connecting the bank account again on your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account by following the steps below:
- Click the Gear icon at the top.
- Choose Bank accounts.
- Enter your financial institution’s URL or name on the search box and see the results.
- Hit Continue.
- Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank's website.
- Select Connect securely.
However, If your bank connection has expired and you are unable to re-authorise the connection, all you need to do is reconnect the account to online banking.
Once connected, you can review and categorize your transactions. Then, create rules to speed up reviews on your data.
