Where are the employee notes from before we switched to core payroll?

We have just been moved to core payroll today. I had some notes attached to the original payroll which are important. They are nowhere to be found. I have the payslips, P60s, reports etc. but there are no employee notes.

Where are they?

Where are the employee notes from before we switched to core payroll?

I’m here to shed light on the missing employee notes, AG777.

 

When you switch from QuickBooks Online (QBO) Standard Payroll to QBO Core Payroll, employee notes don't carry over to the new payroll system. Adding a feature to restore these notes would be helpful for many users. Let’s send this idea to our engineers for inclusion in upcoming releases.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In your company, navigate to the Gear icon at the top and choose Feedback under Profile.
  2. Enter a brief description of your concern in the field box.
  3. Click Next to submit.

On the other hand, you can share how you'd like the program to work by going to the QuickBooks Idea Exchange Board page. Visit this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/quickbooks-idea-exchange/idb-p/uk-idea-exchange. From there, click the Suggest an idea link. Then, type your product suggestion in the field box and click the Post button.

While the notes aren't available in the payslip after migration, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payroll Core support  for further assistance. They can assist you in retrieving the missing notes and provide additional information on how to do it.

 

Here's how to get a representative:

 

  1. Click this link: https://intuit.me/CU.
  2. Select the product you're using and the edition.
  3. Enter a summary of your concern in the What's your question? field.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Choose how you would like to connect with us.

 

Alternatively, you can manually re-enter the notes in the program.
