Customer Payment Terms

Evening - Does anyone know a way in which you can set up a customised payment term based on the service date rather than the invoice date? Any help much appreciated!

Customer Payment Terms

Hi Fabtraining We're not aware of a method or workaround that will enable you to create a payment term based on the service date. The terms when set up in QuickBooks take there start from the invoice date only. So you would be only able to do this manually when creating the invoice by changing the date due. We will certainly pass your comments on to our developers for their consideration and encourage you to leave feedback from within the product.

Customer Payment Terms

Hi @Fabtraining

You'll have to do this manually - rather than on Payment Terms.

Either back-date each invoice so that Invoice Date = Service Date (then use standard terms).

Or, amend Due Date on each invoice to suit.

Hope this helps.
