This option should show when creating an income account. Which browser are you using at the moment?

Web browser? Microsoft Edge

For Clarification:

Am UK based

Via Lists - Chart Of Accounts - New - Income I get no option to choose VAT Code (No Box/Drop Down)

I do if I choose the Expense category

Have tried creating Income Account, and then going back to Edit it....still no option

Thanks for the detail. When going to Lists > Chart of Accounts > New > Income it  should automatically show the Default VAT Code box and drop-down.

To see if this is caused by a cache issue on the browser please try clearing the cache for all time on MS Edge or signing in through a different browser such as Google Chrome.

Have cleared cache, with no effect I am afraid.

I understood Desktop Pro did not use online?

Is it worth uninstalling/re-installing software?

Due to frustration, the following took place:

I created a New Company....and I had exactly the same problem

This happens inside the Sample Company I downloaded.
