I have two scenarios that I can provide, PHE Installations Ltd.
First, we can use a private browser if you’re in the process in signing up and activating MTD. It’s possible that stored cache files caused QuickBooks not to function well.
To use a private browser, here's how:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Option + P
Then, please follow these steps on how to authorise QuickBooks to interact with HMRC - MTD.
Second, if the issue is about submitting return to HMRC, it will be best if you can provide the error that prompted. This way, I can walk you through on how to fix it. Meanwhile, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Support Team so they can review it with you. From the Help menu, click Contact us.
You can always drop your questions here if there's anything else that I can help you with.
