Filing VAT under MTD not working

Hello, I have been using the Sage Desktop Accountants Premier 2019 package to file my client's VAT Returns.

This quarter (30.04.24) I can't seem to file it through the software. It says I can't connect to HMRC and need to set up an Agents Account.

However, when I log into HMRC, they say I am already authorised to file for the agent.

So, i'm confused!

Hi Ruth, thanks for joining the QuickBooks Community

Following the discontinuation of QuickBooks Desktop for UK users in June 2023, HMRC have now ceased to accept VAT filings from the software (effective 07/04/2024).

If you want to keep submitting VAT following the HMRC guidelines, you’ll need to either switch over to QuickBooks Online or another solution that meets the MTD requirements.
