I resubmitted my VAT Return in quickbooks but the error message did not disappear so i did the following:
Logged in the the Goverment Gateway Account using my ID & Password, checked the VAT return had been submitted correctly.
Then i marked the re-submitted VAT return as "Marked as filed"
Quickbooks does not give you any message that your VAT submission has been successful so I checked the status of my VAT return in my Goverment Gateway Account before selecting the "Marked as filed" option.
