Hi
I've been reading the recently released HMRC consultation documents relating to Corporation Tax. As you would expect, it states that ltd companies will need to submit their CT returns via compatible software when this comes on stream (though this isn't until 2026) .
I know that XERO now offer CT filing and so will be ready to respond to this, and so my question is do Quickbooks have plans to also create a CT module that will deliver MTD CT?

Hello tom_coughlin, Thanks for reaching out, At the moment with QuickBooks not having compatibility with corporation tax. If it becomes something like Making Tax Digital for VAT where it is mandatory(unless exempt) to file in the accountancy software then we will be looking at ways to facilitate that, which for example we are doing for Self Employed users which is not for a while. At the moment we have no plans to add a Corporation tax module currently but we will be keeping an ear and eye on the developments so our software can be up to code so to speak.

It's a shame QB's needs to be forced to bring missing functionality to their software.
