Are there known issues with uploading Barclays Bank account information? I've been getting the same error message for 3 days, it will not connect - help?

Hi there, sam29parkin.

 

At this time, there's no reported case about Barclays Personal Banking (UK) not connecting in QuickBooks Online(QBO). You can check your bank's website to see if there are alerts or maintenance that affects their online banking service.

 

Then, manually update your bank account to download the transactions if there's no problem on the bank's end.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Banking from the left panel.
  2. Choose Banking.
  3. Click the Update button in the upper right-hand corner.

If the same thing happens, you can use WebConnect as a workaround to manually import the transactions in QBO. Then, reach out to our Customer Support Team to investigate this further.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click Help on the top menu.
  2. Choose Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern and click Continue.
  4. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to reach us.
