Hello Sjbservices59-gm,
Welcome to the Community page,
To change the business type you need to go to the main cog wheel> account and settings>company>company type.
.... Except, in 2024 it doesn't say 'Company' or 'Company Type' anywhere. What do we do now? I still want to use quickbooks but I've closed a business down many months ago and have started a completely new business. How do I change my invoices, company name, company type. I can only see that my profile can be changed which makes no difference to my account.
What happened to Quickbooks? Before, we could have multiple business's on one account, now it says you have to start a whole new subscription, per business...?? Profit engineering much?
Hello CoachLD, thanks for contacting the Community. QuickBooks Online has always been a one subscription per business, you can use the same login details for an additional company so that you can switch between them, but multiple businesses would not be part of the same account.
If you have started a new business, then you would need to have a separate subscription. We will pass on your feedback of course.
