Connecting etsy and paypal

Hi guys im new on here, had everything running ok now my etsy seems to have vanished and paypal isnt updating anymore, should it say active on the accounts that have been added as the bank does but paypal doesnt. Etsy has actually vanished and when i add it goes again???

  1. Click the Assistant button.
  2. In the chat box, type "Talk to a human" then proceed with I still need a human.
  3. Tap Message an agent.

I can see how the connection issue between PayPal and Etsy into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) cost you time and prevented you from getting transactions, ady1984.

 

Have you encountered any error messages when attempting to perform the connecting process? That information is a great help so I can provide a timely solution. In QBSE UK, the option to set up your PayPal account is available. In this case, we can reconnect your Paypal account to do some updates and download the recent transactions. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Bank accounts.
  2. Tap Connect another account.
  3. In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect your account. QuickBooks Self-Employed will automatically download your recent bank transactions.

 

For Etsy, we can connect it just like any other bank or credit card account. To guide you further, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts under Transactions.
  3. Click + Connect another account.
  4. In the search box, enter the name or URL of your bank.
  5. Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank's website.
  6. Then, hit Connect securely.

 

 

Once done, QuickBooks automatically categorize transactions. Your Etsy payment orders are considered your Business Income. Then, the deposits made into a bank account from your payment account are considered a transfer.

no errors 

 

says 3 accounts linked but etsy is missing. 

 

paypal shows but no sync since this morning.

I'll make sure you'll be able to connect your Etsy and PayPal accounts in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). 

 

We can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to make sure the issue isn’t browser-related. It’s possible that local internet cache files are the reason for this unexpected behavior. 

 

Let's start accessing your account using a different or private browser. You can use either of these shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This is done to speed up the process the next time you do a transaction in QuickBooks Online. Also, an alternative way is to use other compatible browsers.

 

Once done, let's do the manual update to refresh the connection between your account. This way, the transactions will show up. 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts under Transactions. 
  3. Click Refresh all.

However, if the issue persists, you may consider disconnecting your bank. Please be reminded that QuickBooks deletes the transactions that still need to be categorised in the For review tab. Once done, you can reconnect it to start downloading again.

 

Once everything is connected, you can match and categorize your downloaded transactions to ensure they go to the correct accounts and prevent duplicates. You'll also want to reconcile them to make your books accurate.

Done this paypal working.

 

etsy is stuck on my account shows as 3 accounts connected, go on it etsy missing. I cant remove  it.
