Data Export Tool - what am I doing wrong?!

Ashleigh that worked a treat. And now my next question (as I have got this far before!) - when I come in tomorrow and switch on my computer, how/where do I see this information. Idiots guide please! Last week I save the URL (Amazon AppStream 2.0) into my favourites thinking I was being clever but then came in the next day and it didn't work.

So on a day to day basis, what do I do?

Hi Jackie that is great to hear, Can you save this link, from this you can open the data export tool as long as you have that and the file, you'll just need to follow the steps to view the data. 

Yes I can save the link, but will I have to upload my company file everytime or now I've done it once will it just stay there as a temporary file?

Hi Jackie, so it would be EVERTIME you would have to upload the file as nothing is stored on the website, so after the 8hr session is finished, its all wiped and you need to upload the file again the next day, it is wiped off the website that is, not the company file or back up just to be clear for you. 

Thank you I think I've got it, I guess the clue was in the name "temporary file"! It seems to take about 15 minutes to upload our company file but I guess as the years pass I will need to do this less often. I can't pretend I like Quickbooks online, I have been using Desktop quite happily for the last 15 years, but I do appreicate your quick response the questions I have asked. Thanks for your help.

The bigger the file size, the longer it will take you to upload it. You may consider purchasing a 3rd party condense service to lower the file size if needed.
