Hi BRS Sandie,
Thanks for joining in on this thread, at the moment there's no way to input the supplier payment details onto this report, though we agree it would be a really useful feature to have to allow you to create the file you need. If you have a couple of minutes spare, please leave feedback for this by going to the Cogwheel > Feedback within your account, this way it'll be submitted directly to our developers who're able to review and implement such changes. :woman_technologist:
Hi Acc1,
Unfortunately their is no facility within QuickBooks to export supplier payments into natwest bankline, directly.
Hello there, d-laxman.
You can run a supplier report and export the payment information. To do that, run a Transaction List by Supplier and customise this report to only show the bill payments.
Here's how:
Here's a sample screenshot for reference:
I'm also sharing this article for more details on what information you can export from QuickBooks Online: Export reports, lists, and more.
Feel free to leave a comment on this thread if you have any other questions or concerns. Take care.
There is the facility to export a bankline payment file in the payroll part of quickbooks. Is it not possible to get a similar report for the payment of suppliers. IF it is not posssible now is it something that quickbooks will be implimenting in the future. It seems to be quite a flaw in the system.
Hi SimT,
At the moment it is not possible to export the supplier payments directly to your online bank. If your bank offers a file import feature, there may be a report you can run in QuickBooks to export and use in overwriting the file with data. We'd suggest leaving feedback for this by going to the Cogwheel > Feedback within your account, this way, it'll be submitted directly to our developers who consolidate the information on a weekly basis. Thanks :)
I am also looking for this facility - I found the export bill payments list, but I'd need a way to include the bank account details of the supplier to be paid. Could this be added to the report so it shows supplier name, supplier sort code and supplier bank account number?

Currently, the option to export supplier payments into Natwest bankline directly into QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unavailable. We take customer suggestions as opportunities to improve the various features of our products. I'd suggest submitting feedback directly to our engineers. They may look into this suggestion and consider adding this option in future updates. Here's how:
I've attached screenshots below for your reference:
On top of that, you can visit his page to keep updated with the latest software improvements and enhancements with QBO: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online. Alternatively, we can run a supplier report and export the payment information. Just follow the steps and details provided by my colleague RenjolynC on this thread.
Also, to further guide you in managing your account and the growth of your business using QBO, I'd recommend checking out one of our support websites: QuickBooks Help Articles. It includes topics about account management, banking, and expenses, to name a few.
Let me know if you have other concerns about managing your supplier payments. I'll be right here to help. Keep safe always.
