Has anyone else had problems with quickbooks not connecting with Santander this week, been a few days now and it keeps telling me to try again in a few hours. Error 390?

Has anyone else had problems with quickbooks not connecting with Santander this week, been a few days now and it keeps telling me to try again in a few hours. Error 390?

Hello. Judehunter. Error 390 occurs when your bank is undergoing changes that affect the connection with QuickBooks. Because of this, new transactions stopped coming in until the bank connection is updated.

 

To fix this, let's reconnect your bank connection to your QuickBooks Self-employed account. Please do not disconnect your bank account to avoid transactions to be deleted permanently, as this action cannot be undone. Instead, follow the steps below to get reconnected.

 

Before we begin, please choose a transaction start date after the last transaction from the original connection. This helps avoid duplicate transactions when QuickBooks asks where to start importing.

 

Here's how to reconnect your bank account if you're using a web browser: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Bank accounts.
  2. Select Connect another account.
  3. In the search box, enter your bank name and account type
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account. 

 

Once reconnected, QuickBooks will automatically download recent bank transactions.

Once the reconnection is complete, please ensure to exclude any transactions that were already downloaded through the previous connection to avoid duplicates. You might also want to categorise your transactions to keep your records organized and accurate.
