Hi, Is anyone experiencing any problems when trying to reauthorise bank fee with Bank of Scotland? Getting error message "Sorry we couldn't set up sharing?"

I'm here to help you resolve this error message, janetmclean.

To start,  I'd suggest logging in to your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once you're signed in, re-authorise the bank connection again. If you're able to do so, let's clear the browser's cache. This improves the performance of QuickBooks and helps avoid web issues.

If private browsing doesn't work, I'd recommend using different browsers. They'll provide you the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

Also, I'd suggest categorising your bank downloaded bank and credit card transactions and put them in the correct accounts. This ensures your books are accurate.

Please come back and keep us posted on your progress in getting this error message resolved. I'm always glad to help in any way I can.
