Hi when I create an invoice it keeps telling me my invoice may be out of date and won’t let me send anything either by email or send invoice any ideas what’s going wrong

Hi when I create an invoice it keeps telling me my invoice may be out of date and won’t let me send anything either by email or send invoice any ideas what’s going wrong

First, check that both your Invoice Date and Due Date are set to current or future dates, and not to a past date. Using an outdated date can lead to errors, as it may conflict with the company's settings and the closing date. Additionally, verify that your Invoice Terms are configured correctly.

 

If everything is configured properly but you still experience issues, I recommend trying to use an incognito or private browsing window. This can help prevent your browser from using cached data or extensions that might interfere with functionality. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for opening an incognito window:

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome browser
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browsers
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari browser

 

If an incognito window doesn't resolve the issue, consider switching to another supported web browser to determine the optimal computer and browser requirements for the best QuickBooks experience.
