You can download the sample CSV file from QuickBooks Online (QBO) and move your data into it, burnham.
QuickBooks provides a template for creating a CSV file of your invoices. To download it, please follow these steps:
- Select the Gear icon.
- Choose Import data, then Invoices.
- Click Download an example.

To get the invoices from your old system, here's how to generate and export a report:
- Go to Reports, then Standard Reports.
- Use the search field to locate the Invoice List.
- Select the report to open it.
- Determine the appropriate Report period. You may pick Custom to provide a specific date.
- Hit the Export icon at the top right corner.
- Choose Export as CSV.
