Removing outdated entries ensures that your data is relevant and your invoicing process accurate, Tchcleaning. I got details on how to achieve this within QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before we begin, are you trying to add a product/service item to an invoice, and an outdated list came up with old entries you no longer used?
If so, there's no direct option to delete them within QBO, but we can remove those by making them inactive. This process will update your list so you can focus on current and active ones.
Here's how:
- Go to Settings, then select Products & services.
- Select the items(s) that you want to make inactive.
- In Batch actions, click Make inactive.
- Then, hit Yes to confirm.
