Hi there, johnsweet. I can show you the steps on how to downgrade your plan.
Since QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) are two different platforms, there's no direct way to downgrade from QBO to QBSE.
If you want to switch from QBO to QBSE, you can sign up first to QBSE. Then, cancel your QBO subscription after.
Here's how to sign up for QBSE:
- Visit our QuickBooks Pricing plan.
- Choose the Self-Employed Plan.
- Enter your Intuit credentials. Then, follow the on-screen steps.
- Click Subscribe.
Once signed up, you can now cancel your subscription. Here's how:
- Open a web browser on your computer.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
- Go to Gear icon ⚙ and select Subscriptions and billing.
- In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel. If you're cancelling a trial, select Cancel trial.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
In addition, you'll want to export your bank transactions using a .CSV file and import it to QBSE.
Furthermore, you can refer to these articles as your guidance on how to add older transactions and set up your tax profile in QBSE:
