Hello, nrochavera.
Getting paid is something to look forward to. I can definitely guide you on how to handle the missing credit card payment.
I do commission works, and I get paid via PayPal as well. To answer your first question, payments usually appear within the day. Although, it might take long if there's a scheduled maintenance.
Since it didn't show in your PayPal account until now (and no email confirmation was received), I recommend contacting PayPal's support channel. Their agent will be able to trace where the payment went.
You might also want to follow-up with your customer for any reference number regarding May 13's payment.
When the transaction finally appears in your PayPal account, QuickBooks will automatically download it in the bank feeds. If not, you'll want to manually update the linked PayPal account. Go to the Banking page, then click on Update. We recommend doing this at least three to five times.
When you're ready, you can start categorising your transactions.
If you have questions about the Online Banking feature, or how to process payments, let me know. I'm here to lend a hand. You're also welcome to post other concerns here.
Hello Nrochavera,
Welcome to the Community page,
Is this a payment you have received via PayPal?
Hello,
yes, I sent the link quickbooks and PayPal and customer paid by credit card last 13 May. Didn't get any email and the amount is not in the PayPal linked account. I wonder if takes long to receive it? is my first transaction with that way of payment.
