I can share some information you need when sending a portable company file to your client, Studlos03pc.
Before your client can restore the portable file, they need to convert the company file from QuickBooks for Windows into QuickBooks for Mac. However, you can only move company files from QuickBooks Desktop Pro or Premier.
Since you're using QuickBooks Enterprise version, I'd suggest contacting our Technical Support Team. They'll check what they can do to provide you with a better option or a workaround.
Here's how:
- Click Help on the top menu.
- Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- Enter your concern in the Have a Question? field.
- Click Contact us.
- Click QuickBooks Setup & Navigation.
- Choose File Setup & Management.
- Click Start a Message.
