Welcome back, @nikki-thenatural.

Allow me to provide some clarification about the Tag feature in the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) UK version.

The Tag feature is only available in the US version of QBSE. I can see that the option to add tags into a transaction with your QBSE UK version is beneficial to you and your company. However, this feature is still on beta testing for the US version, and still checking if we could roll it out to the other regions.

For now, you can visit our blog site so you'll be able to get the latest news about QuickBooks and what our Product Care Team is working on.

Please post a reply below if you have other concerns with your transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. I'll be more than happy to assist you again. Have a great day and take care always.

Hello @nikki-thenatural,

Let's perform a few browser troubleshooting steps so you can start tagging your income transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

In some instances, the frequently-accessed page resources stored on your browser may affect your browsing experience. They can cause unexpected browser problems like how you're unable to turn on the Tags feature from the Gear settings.

Let's consider logging in to your QBSE account using a private or incognito browser so we can isolate this issue. To do so:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If this works, you can clear your regular browser's cache so the system can start fresh. But if you get the same results while using a private browser, use a different browser app instead.

Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Help Articles for QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know by leaving any comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.

Hi,

Thanks for that.

Unfortunately going incognito didn't work - still no tag option. Tried on Edge (the browser I normal use) and also tried Firefox.
