I keep getting "error" message when trying to save a new product/service. Anyone else had this issue? Tried uninstalling then reinstalling app to no avail

I keep getting "error" message when trying to save a new product/service. Anyone else had this issue? Tried uninstalling then reinstalling app to no avail

Let's get rid of the error when adding a new product or service, bergino1984.

 

You can log into your QuickBooks Online account using a web browser and enter the item from there. Just make sure to use supported browsers when accessing your account. Doing this will help isolate what's causing the issue. 

 

Here's how to add a new item:

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu, select the Products and services tab.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select a product type.
  4. Add a name. 
  5. From the Category ▼ drop-down, select a category that best describes your product or service. 
  6. Complete other fields
  7. When you're done, click Save and Close.

If you're able to perform this process on the web browser, the app could be damage. I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Online Team. They can create a case and investigate the error.

 

How to contact customer support

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  4. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.
