I'm getting an error when reconnecting my monzo account with QB. the error is something about an xml file not being there. can anyone help?

May I know the exact error you've encountered when connecting your bank? This way, I'll be able to provide an accurate solution to resolve this. Adding a screenshot would be a great help too.

 

For now, let's access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser. 

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N 
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P 

 

After signing in, verify if the error is fixed. If yes, let's clear the cache of your browser. This improves the program's performance.

 

Otherwise, you can also use different browsers. They'll provide you the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks. For more details, see this article: System Requirements For QuickBooks.

 

Once done, you can now reconnect your bank account.

 

Aside from that, you can also upload your transactions using CSV files.

 

When you're done, review and categorise your transactions to put them in your accounts.
