I'm trying to convert 4 years of QB Desktop Pro 2016 to online.
QB Support sends me to use Movemybooks, who will convert 2 years for free but are charging £75 + VAT for each extra year.
Edit - I've just tried Movemybooks but it doesn't work because I'm using QBO Simple Start
As I know, if you don't need to meet the MTD requirements, you can stick with QB Desktop to save costs. Otherwise, converting data to QBO UK version or other accounting application is unavoidable.
You can use MMB services to convert your data, but you should know the limitations. If you need to convert data with additional requirements (eg multicurrency, attachments), you should consider purchasing another conversion service.

Thanks for your reply.
I want to move because I want an option that I can use on the go.
MMB didn't work because I'm using Simple Start so that's now not an option.
I now don't know how I'm going to convert it across....if anyone has any ideas that would be a huge help
Thank you for reaching out, @Tracey. I understand the importance of moving your data to QuickBooks Online. However, there will be a temporary pause on all QuickBooks Desktop to Online migrations.
This means that we won't be able to assist customers in migrating using Beanstalk (now discontinued). On the other hand, customers can still manually move their data across using the open balance method.

MMB didn't work because I'm using Simple Start so that's now not an option.
You may consider to purchase another 3rd party conversion service.
Is there a way importing the individual transactions?
This isn't for a business so I don't need customer and supplier balances, ideally I'd have the individual transactions
You can utilize a 3rd party migration tool. i.e TP Exporter for Desktop and TP Importer for Online.
