Hi there, charles52.
Let me help you by making sure you'll be able to connect your American Express (AMEX) account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I've checked our records and found out that the investigation about this has been marked as closed by our engineering team. As a workaround, you can import the transactions manually via CSV file in QuickBooks Online.
Here's how:
After that, you can categorise them in order to allocate them to the appropriate account.
However, If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Support Team. They can take a closer look at your situation and investigate this further.

Ive received a message from QB saying " We are pleased to inform you that your issue has been resolved. The resolution has been implemented and this bank account should be ready for your use." However the issue is not resolved and I am still unable to reconnect my Amex credit card to QB. I am still getting the following message " We're Sorry We cannot connect to your account. Connecting with Intuit France SAS is not available in your region. You will now be logged out of American Express account and returning to Intuit France SAS, where all use is governed by Intuit France SAS's terms and conditions and subject to its privacy and security policies and practices."
If I cannot get my Amex Card working again with QB then I will need to terminate my Amex Card because I do not have all day to mess around downloading and uploading transactions. Im very busy trying to run my business without these kind of headaches.
Pls can you look into this issue again.
Thank you.
This isn't the kind of impression I'd like you to have, Teedit.
