Since the new update I can no longer use my Samsung tablet in landscape mode when creating/editing an invoice. My tablet has a flip-out keyboard so portrait mode is useless. I can use the app in semi-minimised mode then expand the size manually, but this is cumbersome. Is there a setting somewhere? I've tried switching off auto screen rotate and this makes no difference.
This is most likely a compatibility issue or how the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app reacts with the recent software update, djbalaam.
I recognize the benefits of being able to rotate your device into landscape when editing your invoices. Since this is how the application interacts with the update, you can use the web version of QBO through your tablet's web browser. This way, you can continue working in landscape mode.
I'm still ready to back you up for more queries about your invoices or with the QBO app. Feel free to comment back, and we'll get back to you for more help, djbalaam.
I am also having this issue what does quickbooks online
plan to do about this.
Hello there, Elbert! Which device are you having this issue on? Is it on a Samsung tablet as well? If so, you can follow djbalaam’s workaround or Carneil_C’s suggestion above—even though they’re a little cumbersome.
