Meetings working from home

All our employees work from home, but some must hold in-person meetings with clients/potential clients and staff.  We do not hire meeting rooms (none in the area) but chose to meet in an eatery of some description.

It's a legitimate part of the business operations, and it is neither appropriate nor professional to hold a meeting in the house with my underwear draped over the clothes horse!  Is the expense allowable, and is it tax deductible?

Meetings working from home

Hi JD01234, thanks for your post - while we agree that wouldn't be professional, we unfortunately don't have guidance on this here. Please check with your accountant or tax advisor to be sure. :)
