Hi there, Hayley30. I can show you the steps for importing your mileage from a third-party app to QuickBooks Self-employed (QBSE).
To assist you better, I would like to know more about what app you're using to track your mileage. If you're using MileIQ or Google Trips, you can easily import your trips directly.
Here's how:
- On the left side panel, click Miles.
- Select the Add trip dropdown button, then click Import trips.
- If you're using MilelQ, select MilelQ.
- If you're using Google trips, click Import Google trips.
However, if you're using a different app, you can manually add the trips.
Here's how:
- On the left side panel, click Miles.
- Select Add trip. Then, enter the Distance field.
- Select the Date of that trip.
- To edit the start and end address, click the pencil icon.
- Add a Trip purpose note.
- Once done, select Save.
