We are unable to access our customers accounts. The main reasons why you may be seeing the take action button is that the date range/obligation or VAT registration number do not match which show on your VAT portal, making tax digital section, we advise you to check. It could also be that you are not authorised, as your accountant be making the submission on your behalf or conversely if you are the accountant the client may have set up MTD and connected QuickBooks to their VAT portal. You could attempt to disconnect the MTD connection and then re-connect. Cog icon > account and settings > advanced > Making tax digital.
