Hi can somebody possibly advise me? I’ve just signed up to QuickBooks online self-employed, logged in and linked my bank account, it’s imported all my transactions and is all working great. I then downloaded the iPhone QuickBooks app and signed in using the same details as online, however the app is asking me to link my bank account again, surely I’ve already done this and it should sync with the online account. What am I doing wrong?
Hi Ljcarr, thanks for joining the Community - there are two apps available in the app store; QuickBooks Self-Employed and QuickBooks Accounting: Invoices & Expenses (for QB Online Simple Start, Essentials and Plus plans) - please double-check that you've installed the correct app for your subscription type :)
Thank you for the quick reply, I have tried both apps only one of them has let me login. The other app after putting my login details in said this function is not allowed.
I'd love to direct you to the best help available so this gets taken care of, @Ljcarr.
To get this situation resolved, I suggest contacting our support team. Our representatives can assist you further in accessing your account and provide solutions to ensure your linked bank account sync with your QuickBooks app.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns besides app syncing. The Community is always here to help. Take care and have a good one!
