I have an issue with how invoices are being printed/displayed when i have clicked send invoice by email.
When i print the invoice from quickbooks it comes out as it should however when i click send via email and it automatically creates the .pdf the drawing comes out with boxes all shown around the text. How can i stop it doing that?
Thank you for your message.
Is this an invoice created on Microsoft Word and then uploaded through the "Import Styles" feature, or is this one created using the invoice custom form style wizard within QuickBooks Online?
Thanks for that which template are you using?Does this happen on multiple invoices.Could we ask you to have a look at this link
If you still have an issue with the emailed invoice after going through that please let us know
it's every invoice and i did attached a invoice to my first question? this is the invoice printed from quickbooks and as you can see it comes out fine, on the second comment i have attached the invoice that comes out when click send via email and it creates the pdf version, as you can see its the same invoice but with boxes all around the text.
We have amended our previous post my apologies I did not see that screen shot.We have added a link to the previous post if we could ask you to go through the 4 solutions and if you then still have the same issue with the emailed template on Desktop let us know
i have gone through all the steps and if anything it has made it worse. Now all invoices are printing off with boxes around the text.
I have looked through the documentation online and worked out how to switch the boxes off in the printer settings but we still have the problems with PDF's.
can you tell me how it creates the pdf when i click the email button to send an invoice? it seems to me that whatever driver/printer it's using to create the pdf is the issue. I've gone through every printer in the printer settings and made sure the do not print text boxes button is ticked on.
