We don't want you to experience this inconvenience, @charlieb-permits.
There's an ongoing investigation regarding the mileage tracker issue in QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app for Android. Rest assured that our engineers are actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible. However, we currently don't have the exact time frame for a fix.
In the meantime, I recommend reaching out to our customer support team to be added to the list. This will ensure you receive status updates about the investigation via email.
To do that:
- Select Assistant from the top bar.
- Type Talk to a human.
- Enter a brief description of your concern, then click I still need a human.
- Choose a way you want to connect with our support team.
As a workaround, you can manually add the trip. Here's how:
- Select the Miles menu.
- Click Add trip.
- Enter the distance in the Distance field.
- Edit the Date if needed.
- Select the Pencil icon to edit the start and end addresses (optional).
- Add a Trip purpose note.
- When you’re done, select Save.
