Apart from Invoices, is there a way to send other transactions, for example a customer payment receipt, via Gmail to the customer?
Thanks for reaching out on the Community, @Constantinos
Currently only invoices can be sent from your Gmail address in QuickBooks Online.
For additional options, please submit feedback via QuickBooks Idea Exchange. We'll be reviewing all ideas submitted here, and if it gets to over 50 votes, we will review it with our Product team.
Yes, you are right, the question is why?! Since they have the programming code, one wonders, why dont they apply it when sending emails for all transactions?
Let me clarify things for you about using a Gmail account when sending invoices, Constantinos.
As of now, only the invoice transaction is supported by your Gmail address. I understand how important it is for your company to send other transactions using your Gmail account. We see consumer feedback as an opportunity to improve the numerous features of our products. I'd recommend giving our engineers direct feedback. They may look into this suggestion and incorporate it into future updates.
