Welcome to Community mnydigital.
Let me take a look in the back end of our accounts to see if we can move you from Apple to Intuit billing with the time left on your subscription.
Hi mnydigital
We would be grateful if you can PM us on Facebook or DM us on Twitter the email address associated with your QuickBooks account to enable us to assist you further, as per our previous post we can establish if we are able to migrate your company to our billing structure.
We apologise for the service you have received so far. We have switched your billing to Intuit, make sure to login via a desktop browser, you should now be able to subscribe with the updated payment method.
Thanks,
Talia
Hey mnydigital,
I'm happy to hear you have been able to update the billing. Apple are a third-party re-seller of QuickBooks so may offer different promotional prices to ourselves. Our current non-promotional price for the QuickBooks Self-Employed is £8 + VAT, I have checked the billing on our system and can see this is the charge that has been collected. Was the £6 price displayed when you logged into the account to resubscribe?
Thanks!
Thanks for getting back to us, @mnydigital.
I can see the amount collected for your subscription is different compared to the previous one. At Intuit, we want to ensure you're only paying for the services you need.
The subscription rate is dependent upon its price and any discounts offered at the time of sign up. I’d love to assist in checking about the current charge.
The Community is a public platform, and I'm unable to collect personal data to pull up billing. I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed Care Team since they can view your account in a secure manner.
They can provide detailed explanation about the current rate. To reach them, please follow these steps:
Reach out to me if you have any other concerns or questions about QBO. Please know I’m here anytime to help you.
Surely it showing £6 + VAT on the resubscribe page and £8 + VAT after completing the resubscribe isn’t good? £6 + VAT was already over £4 more than I was paying and then it showed £8 + VAT afterwards without consenting to that price.
I've just had this exact conversation with an agent via the built in assistant. I was told by Jae-Anne that the subscrition CANNOT be migrated and that I will need to take out an entirely new subscription and that in doing so I will lose ALL my invoices, but they can keep my transactions.
Why are you providing misleading information on these forums?
Additionally, I pay £3.99 through Google pay, why is it £6+ through Intuit?
Hello there, HealthBrokers.
Yes, that's right. In QuickBooks Self-Employed, the subscription cannot be migrated. They can keep all your transactions if you've decided to create a new one. Aside from that, you can also save them through .pdf file to have your own copy.
You may want to add or edit payment method in Google Play, you can check out here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/add-or-remove-payment-options/add-edit-payment-met...
Visit again if you have other questions. I hope you're good. Take care.
