I need help change my phone number

If you're trying to update the phone number from the Intuit Account Manager, you can follow the steps below:

1. Go to https://accounts.intuit.com/ and sign in using your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Click the Sign in & security tab.
3. Select the Phone section, then edit it to the new number.

On the other hand, if you want to change it inside QuickBooks Online, follow these steps instead:

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Accounts and settings.
2. Select Company, then ✎ Edit in the Contact info section.
3. Enter a Company phone number as it appears on your sales forms.
4. Click Save, then select Done.

I have changed the phone number I used to sign in to QuickBooks. Each time I try to update it, a code is sent to the old number. I have gone through the process of reactivating my account and provided a copy of my passport and all the required information, but my case has been rejected. Please help.

Make sure to submit a high-quality photo or a scan of your passport to avoid rejection of the document. This helps you successfully change your phone number.

1. Go to this link: Proof of Identity form.
2. Under What do you want to update? field, choose Phone number.
   
3. Enter all required details and make sure to provide the correct new phone number.
4. Click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Once your phone number is updated, you'll receive a notification. You can set up two-step verification with your new number. Here's how:
 

1. Go to Sign in & security. 
2. In the 2-step verification section, turn on the feature. 
3. Set up the verification process. 
4. Ensure your phone number is correct and choose how you want to verify your account.
5. Complete the process. You will also receive an email confirming your security preference update.
