Are you referring to the navigation bar on the left side menu in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If so, I have a few troubleshooting steps that can help bring back the said option.
Let's begin by using an incognito or private browser when logging in to your account. Below are the following keyboard shortcut keys that you can refer:
- Google Chrome, press CTRL + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL + Shift + P
- Safari: press Command + Shift + N
If it works in a private browser, I suggest clearing the cache of your regular web browsers. It could be that the browser is holding too much data and clearing this up can help resolve behavior like this. Otherwise, you can try using other supported browser for better isolation.
If it's still doing the same thing, I suggest you contact our QuickBooks Online Customer Care so we can investigate further.
- Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
- Select Contact Us.
- Enter your concern.
- Click Let’s talk.
- Choose Get a callback.
- Type in your contact info.
- Select Confirm my call.
