Self-employed app

I’ve just switched from Android (where I had Quickbooks Self-Employed installed and used it regularly), to iPhone. Moving my apps from Android to iPhone did not work, despite me spending hours with customer service at Apple to get support - they were unable to figure out what was going wrong. I therefore don’t have access to Quickbooks Self-Employed on my new iPhone, and desperately need it for my work. Please can anyone tell me how I can get it on my new phone?

It seems outrageous to me that Intuit would remove something from their current and potential customer base without having a solution or new product already in place. I hope that won’t be the case and someone will have an answer for me. Thank you.

Self-employed app

Hello there, @AStarkContrasr. I hear where you’re coming from, and I want to make sure we get this sorted out for you.

As of 1st of January 2025, the QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app is no longer available to download from the App Store or Google Play. If you already had it installed on your Android prior to this date, then you will be able to continue to use it as normal. If not, you can try accessing QuickBooks Self-Employed via web browser to continue your tasks.

If you wish to use your iPhone, you can consider switching from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Sole Trader. This enhanced tool for self-employed individuals offers familiar tools with added features, such as sending estimates and setting financial goals.
