Still getting the error message 'We can't find this account at your bank' across mutiple clients (and own) AMEX card connections in QBO. Anyone esle with this problem?

Jumping in to help with your banking errors, RedFive.

This error usually shows up when the bank moved the account to a new server, account name has changed, a new account number was issued, and if the bank account is already closed. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Click Update in the upper-right hand corner. This is to make sure that the error displayed is really the current error on your account.
  2. Click the Check Connections link in the error banner. Then, follow the succeeding prompts to complete the process.

If the account isn't showing up even after following the Check Connections prompt, please contact our phone and chat support agents. They need to double-check other factors that might have caused the issue. Here's how:

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand of QBO.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Inform them about the AMEX card connections error, then click Let's talk.
  4. Select Get a callback and enter the required info. You can also click Start a chat if you want to reach out to our Chat Support Team.
