I need my QB Online Estimate template to show "Terms". i.e. Customer Payment Terms.
This field is populated when creating a new customer, but I can't find a way to add this field to the template.

Hi Totallockoutusa, Your most welcome, so it is not available on the estimate, you can however use a custom field to show it, but you would need to enter it in to every on manually. no you don't need to upgrade your account as it still wouldn't show for you.
Hello Totallockoutusa,
Welcome to the Community page,
If you go to the main cog wheel> custom form styles> select your template> content> select the top box on the right hand side>scroll down to display section on the left> in that section you will see a box to tick for terms> tick that box > done it will then show on the invoice when you send it to your customers.
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this doesn't work. I'm trying to edit the Estimate template, not invoice.
The 'Terms' field is not available to add. Do I need to upgrade my version? I'm using QuickBooks Plus.

Entering the information manually will lead to mistakes, if the person creating the Estimate doesn't check the payment terms set against the customer during set-up.
It seems odd that this field is not available to add to the template.
You can leave it as feedback in the main cog wheel this gets sent straight to the developers and it may come as a feature in the future.
