verify phone number

New account and every time it sends me a verification code it tells me the code is wrong, i then try getting verification code via phone and it says this one is expired. Ive tried both ways 4 times each with no luck. The help section is also no good as it tells me to log in to get help but cannot login until verified. Also tried the skip button and that does nothing at all,

I want to ensure you'll be able to log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account, @Dave Downs.

 

You can turn off the multi-factor verification in your Intuit account. Let me guide you how:

 

  1. Head to accounts.intuit.com and sign in using your QBSE credentials.
  2. Next, select the Sign In & Security button.
  3. Then, in the Two-step verification section, select Turn off.
  4. Enter the code, then click Continue.

Once done, attempt to sign in to your QBSE account again. If the same thing happens, let's access your account in incognito mode. This browser is free from cache files and doesn't store data files that might cause issues when running websites. Below are the keyboard shortcuts that you can use:

 

  • For Chrome, press and hold Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Firefox, press and hold Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Safari, press and hold Command + Shift + N.

 

Once a private browser is opened, attempt to sign in. If this works, please clear the cache of your regular browser to refresh the background processes and to have a clean slate. If not, I'd suggest using other supported browsers when logging in to your QBSE account.
